What a trainee does
- Gets to know residents and their needs, and talks with them to ease anxiety
- Supports daily care: hygiene, dressing and meals
- Positions bedridden residents and helps with mobility
- Measures temperature, pulse, breathing and weight

Questions about this sector
From 10 days to 1 year, all year round, like every BragaMob placement.
A company tutor at the host organisation guides the daily work; a BragaMob mobility coordinator stays in contact with the trainee, the tutor and the school.
The working language is English; participants pick up basic Portuguese during the stay.
On the last day the company tutor runs a theoretical and practical assessment, which is recorded. The participant receives the Europass Mobility and a Certificate of Attendance, and your school decides how the results are recognised.
