What a trainee does

Welcomes guests and handles check-in and check-out
Prepares itineraries and tourist information for guests
Keeps the guest database up to date

Questions about this sector

How long can a placement in this sector last?

From 10 days to 1 year, all year round, like every BragaMob placement.

Who looks after the trainee?

A company tutor at the host organisation guides the daily work; a BragaMob mobility coordinator stays in contact with the trainee, the tutor and the school.

Which language does the trainee need?

The working language is English; participants pick up basic Portuguese during the stay.

How are the learning outcomes assessed?

On the last day the company tutor runs a theoretical and practical assessment, which is recorded. The participant receives the Europass Mobility and a Certificate of Attendance, and your school decides how the results are recognised.
