Inclusive education in disability

A five-day course on including children with disabilities and learning difficulties in mainstream education. It covers individual learning plans, support during lessons and tests, cooperation with parents, attention deficit and the use of cognitive maps, with professional visits to a vocational school, a kindergarten and a primary school.

  • Professional visit to a kindergarten
Day 4Active learning and attention deficit
  • Meaningful, active and multimodal learning with active maps
  • Limits of learning: main deficit areas
  • Attention deficit disorder: characteristics and cognitive style
  • Progressive learning experiences with cognitive maps
  • Professional visit to a primary school
Day 5Maps and assessment
  • Creating maps for different types of students from the same topic
  • Learning assessment and meta-learning: using maps to measure progress
